As we prepare to start the 2014 - 2015 season there is much underway - new coaching staff, renewed focus, new fields will be opened at Villanova (stay optimistic!). New coach Jack Foley guided the Atlantis High School team to the championship this past weekend at Surfside 7's! Each year we must fund the additional liability cost the school incurs for having a rugby team~$5,000. We need your help! Please consider making a donation online through the Villanova Athletic Fund. All donations are tax-deductible and can be made at the link below.

Villanova Rugby is please to announced that Jack Foley (Class of 1995) will assume the responsibilities of head coach for the team as we continue toward our goal of becoming the premier team in the region! Coach Foley has already set plans in motion to reach out to current and prospective players. He is fortunate that his wife's rugby resume (Penn State University, USA Rugby) is equally as impressive and she is supportive of his decision to be a top coach. Jack is currently employed as a teacher in the Methacton School District. He has plans for additional coaching staff and looks forward to continuing the success that we have had recently at Nova and the success that many of us remember as players.

Congrats to all our Villanova Rugby seniors who graduate this weekend! This group of young men was the first class in decades to spend all four years playing rugby for Villanova under university recognition and they helped lead this club to new heights. Cheers to them and good luck in the future!
